Privacy Policy of myTicket App

1. GENERAL

Data protection is taken seriously by the CBCX Technologies GmbH, Industriezeile 35, 4020 Linz, Austria (hereinafter "CBCX"). By this "Privacy Policy" CBCX wants to inform you about the required data and sensitive permissions, its purpose and how we intend to use it.

The protection of your privacy is of utmost importance to us. This is the reason why compliance with the strict provisions of the law is a matter of course for us. It is our firm belief that data protection starts with transparency. Thus, our concern is to let you know which kind of your data is stored, how we use your data und also how you can limit or even prevent such storage of your data.

CBCX will only use your information and data provided by you in consistency with the Austrian and European data protection laws as well with this Privacy Policy.

2. SCOPE OF APPLICATION

CBCX expressly states that the Privacy Policy shall apply to all users of the myTicket app.

3. WHAT IS PERSONAL DATA

Personal data includes information on personal and factual circumstances concerning an identified or identifiable person. This includes information such as your (real) name, your address or any other mail address and as well as your telephone number. Also your e-mail address is included here if it is connected so strongly to your name that you are identifiable.

In view of the fact that CBCX does not use any personal data from you, there is no need to explain the term personal data more precisely.

4. WHAT ABOUT IP-ADDRESS, ETC.?

With your use of the myTicket app, some possible identification data (IP-address) and other information (date, time, viewed page) are stored on our servers for the purpose of data security.

An evaluation of the data does not take place.

5. ACCESS AND PERMISSIONS REQUESTED BY THE APP

The myTicket app uses the internet connection of the iOS device. This access is necessary for the communication between the iOS device and the backend of CBCX (www.myticket.cc) solely.

Moreover the app requests access to the camera of the device. The myTicket app will ask you for permission to access your camera the first time it will be used by the app.

Granting the myTicket app permission to use the camera will enable the app to scan ticket barcodes.

The images of the tickets taken by the camera are analysed in real time and the barcode will be extracted and evaluated. The images will neither be transferred over the network, nor will they be stored on the device itself. The image is discarded as soon as the barcode has been decoded or no decodable barcode has been detected.

6. INFORMATION STORAGE

We will take all reasonable steps to ensure that your information is kept secure and protected.

As has just been explained, CBCX neither uses, nor stores any personal data of you. However the backend of CBCX stores a Unique Identification Number (hereinafter "Unique ID") (see also point 6 of this privacy policy), which is transferred with every request from the myTicket app to the CBCX backend.

Moreover the backend of CBCX also stores the following information for a short period of time:

• the model of the iOS device
• the version of the iOS operating system
• the iOS device’s user language

The app settings and IDs of the tickets are only stored locally on the device. They are neither transferred to the backend nor stored there. As with any locally stored app data the removal of the app also triggers the removal of any app related data from the device.

According to point 4 of this Privacy Policy, CBCX does not store any images taken with the device.

7. USE OF UNIQUE IDENTIFICATION NUMBER

The Unique ID is a number, which is randomly generated when the application is used for the first time. It only identifies the device uniquely but not the person using the device.

The myTicket app randomly generates and locally stores a Unique ID for the device upon the myTicket app’s first use. Each action within the app sends a request to the backend of CBCX (www.myticket.cc) and every request automatically transfers the Unique ID (and the listed information of point 7 of this privacy policy) of the device to the backend of CBCX (www.myticket.cc).

In a first step, the backend of CBCX records the Unique ID of the device and stores it for a short time in a second step.

8. RIGHT OF MODIFICATION

We reserve the right to amend the provisions of the privacy policy without giving any reasons at any time, whereby any such amendments shall be published within the myTicket app. Any amendments of the Privacy Policy enter into force immediately after the announcement.

9. DELETION

In case you do not accept the above mentioned use of the above mentioned data, you may not further use the services of the myTicket app. In this case you can delete the myTicket app (at any time) which will also delete the locally stored app related data.

10. FURTHER QUESTIONS

If you have any questions about this privacy policy, please feel free to contact us (e-mail: legal@cbc-x.com).
